I'm Amanda, and I'm glad you're here!

I'm a doula and a maternal and child health scientist. I offer childbirth education, birth and postpartum planning, and support to talk through your questions and experiences. I work with families through all kinds of pregnancies, and I specialize in complex pregnancies, NICU stays, and loss.

What I Offer

I provide education and emotional support during pregnancy and postpartum.

Before birth, I offer private childbirth education and help you write your birth preferences. I can also help you prepare for postpartum and caring for your newborn.

If you're facing a complicated pregnancy, a diagnosis, or a NICU stay, I can help you understand what's going on and think through your questions and decisions. I'm also someone to talk to about how things are going.

What I don't offer: I don't give medical advice, provide continuous labor support, or help with things like cooking and cleaning at home. If you need that kind of support, I'm happy to connect you with people who do.

Visits can be virtual or in person. In person, I can meet you on Milwaukee's south side and nearby communities, or at several Milwaukee-area hospitals.
